Where I'll Be and When I'll Be There part 2!

Attached are pictures of my final itinerary of my tour of London. Indicated on it are which parts of the tour connect to which Framingham State English class. My class in English 212 Literature for Children. This is mostly a post for me so that when I get to London I will have online access to this document, however if you are a member of the family (hi mom) that likes to know where I'm going to be, this is the post for you!

21 Days until Takeoff

For those of you who haven't heard me constantly talking about it: I am taking a J-term to study abroad in London! The trip consists of an almost 2 week faculty lead tour of the city, with a strong emphasis on literature, as it will count for credit toward my Children's Literature class. While this blog is, to a large point, a part of my grade for class where I will reflect on how the trip has expanded what I have learned in class about Children's Literature, I will also try to incorporate posts for friends and family (Yes, that means you, Mom!) to follow my trip events and get live updated on my learning. Also, my goal for this blog is to serve two purposes: to finish out my last Children's Lit assignment with an A and have a place to go where I can re-read all my thoughts about my trip, a cyber scrapbook, if you will. Therefore, I will try to add labels to my posts that say "for class" or "for friends and family" or essentially to make the reader aware of my controlling purpose (lol that one's for you Dr. Holloway.

So, with 21 days until take off, I am excited to say the least. As I finish out the semester, I am letting dreams and visions of london and Harry Potter related discoveries push me through. But to get things started I'd like to share with you some links to things that I am already excited about!

This is some information on the state of the art airplane that will transport me across the pond:

This is the website of the apartment the students on the trip are staying in, though I'm not sure the size of our rooms yet, or who I will be living with:

This will be the first English restaurant I dine in with my travel companions! I am already torn about what to order and I haven't even gotten there yet (I am open to suggestions):

I am also going to post my tour schedule for friends and family to know where I am just in case I am not able to post, you can all use your lovely imaginations to figure out where I might be. That's all for now!
